DIG-IT-ALL RE:WALL-UTION SUIT (Mao where did it all go wrong?)
Dressing Ourselves exhibition at Milan Triennale 2005

Alessandro Guerriero presented important figures from the world of architecture, design, music and art who reflect upon contemporary culture and the importance of clothes within it (more info). Thirty participants were asked to design an item of clothing that would become a kind of self-portrait. The sketches they made were the starting point for a collection of clothes-cum-works of art displayed on glass resin sculptures representing the creators in real scale. The Milan event was the first stage of this itinerant project which will be replicated with local flavour in New York, London and Tokyo. P&R's contribution was a ready-made superimposition of a traditional Chinese Revolution worker's suit and the iconography from the cult-movie Matrix on a mannequin that represented young Mao Zedong.
